HLWW ISD 2687 Community Education

Laker Care provides enrichment opportunities for children aged 33 months - Grade 6. Our aim is to provide a program that will complement both the home and school experience by providing a safe, caring, enriching and recreational environment for children enrolled. 

Laker Care takes place at HLWW Middle School, 8700 County Rd. 6 SW Howard Lake. Community Education Entrance, lower-level east side parking lot.

33 MONTHS - 5 YEARS (NOT IN KINDERGARTEN AND FULLY POTTY-TRAINED)

• Choice based programming for full or part day and selected weekly schedules. Providing busing transportation between Laker Care and Little Laker Learners Preschool.
• High quality early childhood program that promotes social, emotional, physical and cognitive development in a safe, caring and nurturing environment.

KINDERGARTEN - GRADE 6

• Choice based programming for before or after school care and selected non-school days and summer.
• Activities fostering social and emotional development; language and literacy; the arts; math and critical thinking; science; social studies; and health and physical education.

ENROLLMENT

Please have the following information on hand before beginning the registration:

• Your desired schedule for attendance
• Emergency contacts
• Health and medication information
• Optional: Electronic payment method (credit card or ACH)

Child Care contract requests are pending approval by the Laker Care office.
